the latter term—to pneuma tou theou—speaks of the Holy Spirit.4 Notably, in the Gospel of John, “the ‘Spirit of truth’ is the Holy Spirit [see John 14:17, 26; 15:26; 16:13–15], who proceeds from God and teaches the truth about Christ (cf. 1 John 2:20, 27).”5 What, then, is the content of the God-approved confession?
